About six tracks into it and the first two tracks are great, with Somniphobia and Amnesia being completely unlistenable and shite. The album is fine but nowhere near on the level of Scenes of hell, its good for the odd little thing it is though.

That's funny, on first listen those 2 were my favorite tracks.

By the message of painting I would say it is in the Victorian period in England. The artist? I wouldn't know! I will when the album arrives in the mail, though.

I tried. Haven't be able to get much out of this band since Imaginary Sonicscape.

Still love Scorn Defeat though, excellent album.

That's unfortunate because Sigh has been constantly making great albums since their advent.

This album can be only described in two ways: mesmerizing and groundbreaking.

Scorn Defeat is the only album I own from them.. I really enjoy it... I listened to a few songs off of other albums and never really got into them... I know their sound is usually changing , so do they have any albums that sound anything like scorn defeat.. Even if not, what are their best albums?

Infidel Art/Hail Horror Hail you might like as well. I think Sigh is just one of those bands that isn't for everyone, as talented as they clearly are.

Album of the year, hands down, don't even argue, it's a fact :dio:
