Went to a soup kitchen for the first time today - grubb's not bad at all. Sandwiches were a bit dry though.

I probably shouldn't be spending my dole money on internet cafes but it gets boring not having anything to do.

What's going on with you? Sleeping in the car? This. What's wrong?

I kinda fucked up and got sacked from my job at the service station. Got caught busted stealing free DVD's out of the porn magazines.

They were shit DVD's too - didn't show much at all. Boobs and facial expressions and that's about it.

I couldn't afford rent after that and moved into my car. No way am I telling my parents I got sacked nicking dirty CDs in my first job in god knows how long.

It doesn't bother me though. Such is life!

I'm sorry to hear that. Any plans for recovery yet?

Looking for work but there's bugger all for us unskilled masses.

Don't exactly have a good resume or glowing references either. :P

At least if my mental state goes south again, they'll put me back in the mental health ward again. 3 hot meals, a bed and a funky arts program.

What kind of a mental disorder did you have? I remember you mentioning it before...

Bipolar. And I tend to suffer from delusions when I'm not with it.

Right. Well, I really hope you can find whatever job you may seek and have a house again. If you were in my city I would've given you a place to stay until when you could afford your own place. Is there no benefit that you can take advantage of?

Found my roommate collapsed on the bathroom floor yesterday. Took him to the hospital, went to get him a warm blanket and couldn't find him when I came back. A nurse found him collapsed in the bathroom again. He sat in emerge for over 5 hours and then walked home, tired of waiting to be seen. Now, for the last 6 hours I've felt like absolute shit. Fever, headache, upset stomach, diarrhea!

Apparently the flu bug is hitting my area hard.

Sounds like a pepto commercial.

I thought this was an overdose story. Phew, flu is a much better issue to encounter I think.

Reading week started today. Two midterms and two papers. Finished the first paper. I'm happy with it, thought, the professor is extremely difficult in marking. The other paper is really an outline for the forthcoming paper at the end of April sometime. It should be interesting, to say the least! I find myself, tired after 5-6 hours of studying. Maybe I should go for a long hike with my buddy. That way I can consume a lot oxygen and rejuvenate my energy. We'll see how that works out. For the mean while I must finish studying for my Psychology. It looks like I will have enough time to spend on all subjects under consideration and rest in between. It is after all... reading week. Who studies?! Apparently I do! It will be all history in less than two months. Time Flies!!

Edit: I'm glad your roommate is only suffering from the flu and it's not what Trapt thought it is.

I seem to remember you ranting about unemployed people who abused the welfare system and whatnot... Changed your political ideas at all?

For serious! Don't want to kick a guy when he's down but hypocrisy much?

School is kicking my ass this week. I want to fucking turn off and Freud on narcissism and a paper on it is kicking my ass. Plus, I have a Wittgenstein ten page paper due on Friday. And my friend really needs help painting her bar that is opening soon. So many obligations.

And I started going to counseling yesterday. It was really nice actually. Where my friends tell me I need to change things, the therapist just conceded the point that I might really know what I want in life and what I need to do is work through my past shit and eccentricities that undermine my goals. Self-improvement is better than self alteration.

Forgot another assignment (actually did this one, didn't bring it to class). Teacher was nice and said I could bring it in tomorrow, but I'm still worried 'cause it's happened twice this semester, and never happened before. Guess it's a good thing I'm almost done school.

Had a lot of good times with my girlfriend during reading break. It's nice.

Also getting a little more serious about learning to hit notes properly and keep time. I want to be a machine!!
