Bruce, you're insane, the Indiana Jones movies are all equally fucking awesome, even the newest one.

They're good if you're into that stuff probably, I'm not arguing that. My point was, how on earth is it even possible that the third one (Last Crusade) is not considered being the best of the four (so far, as I'm told of an upcoming fifth one)... At least on IMDB.

I didn't grow up with Indiana Jones movies, that may explain things. I was more of the Back to the future kind.

The new Sherlock Holmes, The shadowy... whatever, I don't remember. Yeah, it was OK.

I loved: the few slow-mo action scenes. Gorgeous, intense, brillant.
I liked: the evil scheme. Zaharoff, someone?
I was a tad disappointed by the dialogues. To few good lines... But good enough overall.
Also Robert Downey Jr. trying to speak french was cute.

I actually know quite a few people that consider Last Crusade to be the best so you're definitely not alone.

Eden Lake - I thought I was going to get a cathartic ending, but instead I just felt like killing myself. So if you want to feel like that, watch this movie.

Super - Perverse. It's great.

Dead Leaves - I don't even know.

Also guys, Temple of Doom, when viewed objectively, is not very good. Although it improves remarkably when the woman they cast as the "love interest" disappears from the screen for 15-20 minutes. And call me old fashioned but I still vote Raiders as the best one.

I had the same feeling. Really wanted her to brutally slaughter those kids... at least she got one or two. :-(

The only part of the movie that's worth watching.

Yeah, Temple Of Doom is as awful as the other two are brilliant. Racist and irritating; the world's worst love interest and the world's most hateful sidekick.

My favorite Indiana Jones has always been Raiders.
I agree with Temple Of Doom being the worst of the three.
That blonde chick is annoying as hell.

I took my son to see 'John Carter' today and I thought it was a great fun sci/fi movie. I can't understand why it's taking such a beating from critics. The poor ticket sales may be coming from younger audiences having no idea who John Carter of Mars is and over-saturation of this kind of story. The 'Star Wars' kid in me absolutely loved this movie.

Completely agree. People take it waaay too seriously. I love that there's a lot of sci-fi stuff being made these days, even if it's fun stuff like John Carter and not more like Prometheus.

Yeah, I had way more fun watching John Carter than I thought I would. Such a great, old-fashioned sci-fi flick. Shame there's basically no chance for a sequel.

Anything to do with Mars and aliens tends to flop .. I think it's just too hard to imagine anything on a planet we have plenty of pictures of.
