I miss playing that game so much...none of my friends play anymore.

Dear diary,

I fell on the ground, while doing the groceries this evening. I suddenly felt really dizzy (I've been feeling a bit dizzy the whole day actually), then the next thing I saw was the ceiling of the store, while lying on the ground like a moron.

I stopped taking psychotropic medication 5 days ago, a bit too brutally it seems. I took a pill 2 hours ago, and I feel much better now so, yeah, it has to be that. I was under the same meds 7 years ago, and was perfectly fine when I stopped. I'm aging.

In other news, my (ex) supervisor sent me her reply. An understanding reply. What a relief. I'm now freed from all that bullshit.

Now I think I'm going to try and become a teacher (to kids). I like teaching, and I'm awesome with children (everybody says so).

Good career move. Male primary teachers are always in demand.

I'm thinking of doing that. But I've never really tried to control more than 4 kids at a time. Dunno. decisions decisions.

After nearly 5 years of trying to figure out the one thing that keeps my voice from sounding bad, I figured out what it was a few days ago for some reason. I think watching the making of the Ayreon albums videos really helped because I have sung all those same lines the same exact way myself and it was very easy to spot the problem when I heard the singers without the other instruments drowning out the lower frequencies.

For the last few weeks I've just sang normally relying on mostly muscle memory with good results with only one rule: lower the Larynx when in falsetto (open) I've come to figure out this was the only obstacle in my way. These demos are getting done at breakneck speed now. I did 14 songs in one day yesterday that were all very nice to hear. None of that "sounds good until you hear it the 12th time" problem I've been having.

I feel great about it really. After watching some youtube clips of various singers live, I think I may end up being one of the best ever. I am still in my mid-20's! I was very disappointed in Tyranti's live singing. I think it is psychological on his part though and not his singing per se. You'll hear it soon enough but I am nailing his studio performances in one take even after chain smoking while recording for three hours straight after smoking quite a bit of weed. I do this stuff because I am forcing the difficulty to be extremely harder than normal.

The demos are coming very shortly. I plan on having a couple hundred done by "the end" of it. Once I get around 50 done that demonstrate the amount of range and versitility it will be time to shop myself around to bands. I never ended up contacting Kamelot and I think it is too late. It's a shame because I can sing those songs as well as Roy Khan did and I have far more power and range. That is okay. It wasn't the right gig or I would have allowed myself access to my best singing technique months ago that would have gotten these demos done in a much more timely manner.

so do we get a sneak peek at this immense talent?

I hope someone is collecting all these posts. Exhibit A for the prosecution...

For someone who claims to sing better than guys like Roy Khan and Daniel Heiman and the like, he better back this shit up with some samples.
