C'mon dudes, Jimi Hendrix was the bees knees when it comes to rock guitar. Shawn Lane agrees with me and he was better at guitar than you, so ha!

You don't know that I shot the sheriff never inspired anybody to play the guitar. You are taking out you ass.

Not understanding why Clapton or Page or Hendrix are on these lists is just ignorance on your part.

Zappa being placed at 47 makes that list irrelevant.

 Love this place. Elitist as fuck, I can see each and every last one of you (us!) getting into heated pub debates with 'normal' people about all this stuff we take for granted.

The Rolling Stone list is just ridiculous. Tony Iommi, David Gilmour, Randy Rhoades, and Eddie Van Halen are all extremely influential and popular guitarists, yet none of them reach the top 50. It's even more ridiculous that Jack White and Kurt Cobain are in the top 20.
I know something like this is expected from Rolling Stone, but WTF....

Feel great, managed to work Zizek into an essay on consumer culture and identity.

I am almost done my Psychology paper. Although it is somewhat stressful to edit it and put things together considering the circumstances that I am in. It's definitely the most stressful time of the year with the exams approaching. In terms of papers, I have done all of them with being 85% done with Psychology and a Philosophy paper due the 9th of next month which isn't far away at all. That will be a challenge to do, so I think. It might be not too bad after when I start typing words. Sometimes you build these things in your mind and when you're in the process of writing, it naturally flows. We'll see...

Fuckles, been spending like 18 hours writing a fucking ten page essay on diverging historical views on the 1973 coup in Chile. Such a difficult topic and I fucking chose it, I'm so dumb...plus my paper is completely devoid of analysis. FUCKFUCKFUCK

good thing is, wednesday I'll be done with everything, although it also means that study abroad in Chile is coming closer to an end. Gonna have to break up with my Chilean gf...bummer.

It was a fest, Megadeth, Fear Factory, Kataklysm, Destruction, Lizzy Borden, All Shall Perish, Wermatch, Tristania... Moonspell and Overkill canceled, I was very pissed off, Overkill was one of the main reasons for me to go to the fest :(

All was great, I knew a lot of national bands, very cool. Megadeth gave a crappy show. They were supposed to play 2 hours live and they only played less than an hour... because "the security was shit" said the Megadiva. Megadeth has never been one of my favorite bands, but now I hate them. Destruction and Lizzy Borden were the greatest shows.

Life's good. I've a new job (and my boss likes 70's rock) , the new gf is very obedient, good at bed and an awesome cook. Can't complain really.

The thugs of Thell Barrio gave an awesome show, the crowd went mad. I don't like much Hardcore, but they are pretty good. Link to the wall of death:

I'm very glad things are going great for you :). I will check out the link and get back to you later on. Cheers, Buddy.

EDIT: I checked out the clip and that mosh-pit is simply massive!! In terms of sound, I can barely hear anything.

The last few years I've been listening to everything but power metal, with a few exceptions... I thought I was growing out of the genre. I am so happy that isn't the case. I've been on a power metal overload lately and I it feels amazing. Thank you God for power metal.
