Oh, I have no doubt the music videos and probably the film will be pure cheese but I have high hopes for the album.

i dunno exactly their monetary situation, but if im in a successful yet mostly underground band like that im saying lets do a new cd 2+ years ago and skip a movie and the potential for tremendous disaster. who honestly is going to watch a movie or whatever it is with this cd. they couldve been having their 3rd cd with annette coming out now instead of the 2nd.

i cant believe theyve taken 4.5 years or something between cds, the scary thing is that it seems to me like it just came out yesterday though. ive listened to it a hundred times but over 4.5 years thats not that much, it still seems somewhat new especially the 2nd half.

I agree that a movie is a pretty weird direction but lets not forget Dark Passion Play sold in the millions worldwide. I'm sure they got some pretty decent financial backing because of that.

Agreed, and I do not think it is a major stretch to assume this film will be a moderate success, considering their fan base. I doubt there is a huge amount of money being dumped into it, and the Europe fan base alone will generate enough interest to justify it.

As for the concept, I think this is an avenue that should be explored by more artists (as long as honest artistic effort is being put into it, and not just a cash grab). Pink Floyd's the wall is one of the greatest musical concepts ever, and the film is a perfect compliment to it.

Yeah, I prefer when bands take their time to release an album rather than rushing one out for the sake of satisfying impatient listeners.

If this movie is in English, it's going to be horrible.
