I remember when Inverness Caledonian Thistle beat Celtic last season the headlines were hilarious.

SUPER CALEY ARE FANTASTIC, CELTIC ARE ATROCIOUS

Solid win yesterday against Albania (3-0). Now, the "final" against Bosnia next Tuesday. The winner ends up first of the group, and a draw would qualify France. Funny thing is Abidal, Benzema, Ribéry, A. Diarra, Sagna, Mexès were not on the pitch, and we played (much?) better without them. Benzema was missed, but not the others. Albania sucked, though.

Man, you only beat Liechtenstein 1-0, cool down
Anyway, if you survive next Tuesday (Spain), you may have a chance.

Oh the suffering. But it's done, France will be there.

Are qualified:
Germany, Russia, Italy, France, The Netherlands, Sweden, Greece, England, Denmark, Spain. Plus Ukraine and Poland.

Playoffs teams:
Turkey, Ireland, Estonia, Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, Portugal, Czech Rep.

Sorry Fridge.

lol my Irish friend was eager to get France in the playoffs again.

Portugal fucked up again. we're not Spain or Germany, but player-for-player we are still very strong in most positions and it's unacceptable, in my opinion, for Portugal to play this badly. what a disgrace.

Fuck's sake. Fuck the Czechs. And the Spaniards.

WE'LL BE COMING, WE'LL BE COMING, WE'LL BE COMING DOWN THE ROAD
WHEN YOU HEAR THE NOISE OF THE TARTAN ARMY BOYS
WE'LL BE COMING DOWN THE ROAD

Our time will come.

Seriously, Montenegro qualified over Switzerland? How the fuck did that happen?

Rennes - Celtic tonight. I can't stand Rennes so GO CELTIC. If you guys could injure a couple of them, that would be perfect.

Should be fun. Celtic need to win.

And so does Rennes, the losing team is pretty much doomed.

Sporting and Braga also on the line today, both teams in good shape, should be able to bring in a few more points for Portugal.

Porto messed up again and have 4 points in their three first games. hope they get fucked, hate them lol.

Benfica defeated Basel 2-0 away, solid display, now we play them at home and if we win we're guaranteed to qualify. just hope we survive out trip to Old Trafford after that

Status quo, more or less. Udinese is almost qualified, Atletico, Celtic and Rennes will fight to the death. It is still open.
And now Paris is up against a shitty team, come on boys!

I'm simultaneously watching Shamrock Rovers v Paok and Zurich v Lazio right now.

French clubs had 5 matchs to play this week. 5. Five, cinq, cinco, fünf.

...

They managed to score 1 goal, and that was an own-goal. Azrael, don't you worry, Portugal is going to get France's current fifth place without even breaking a sweat.

You may all know it already, but this site is a goldmine regarding UEFA rankings and such: http://kassiesa.home.xs4all.nl/bert/uefa/

Been using it for 10 years at least. Always delivers.

i was looking for that shit for ages! stupid url lol

i'm hopeful for Portugal this year, indeed. Benfica and Sporting are in good shape, and Porto even if they don't qualify i think will make the UEFA Cup and do some damage there. Braga i haven't been following, but they're still solid.

To be honest I think you can even grab Italy's 4th place.
