I try to stay away from it.... but I only own a few NSBM records, and usually I have found out that those where NS later.

the NS message is not in the lyrics, so your poll options are flawed.

Most NSBM people are just dumb skinheads making substandard BM.

There are exceptions to this rule, though. Some NSBM bands make good music and (although i don't agree with the message) some even seem to be intelligent people.

I stay away from BM with NS lyrics, if dont agree with the ideology, i cant enjoy the music.

What's with skinheads doing BM anyway, once i came across this band called Veles and they are all ........ skinheads ! They are attracted to NSBM because of the nazi ideology i guess.

I'm not a great fan but then again I don't care what their ideologies are. They're free to use their music as a vehicle for their message if that's what they desire..

If I was going to sit around and be offended at other people's opinions, the first place I'd start would be shitty capitalist nu-metal and thrash bands..

As for the issue at hand... it's a complex matter, but it essentially boils down to the fact that, in the words of valefor (mangled slightly) "I find rape, pedophelia, and misogyny to be offensive, yet there are bands reviewed here with themes such as those in their lyrics..." I would add on to that: "and as a result, to not accept idealogies that deal in killing Jews and other such unpleasantries is tantamount to the worst sort of hypocrisy."

Which it is. To only let some kinds of hatred towards some groups in and others not at all is ludicrously hypocritical.

As with most of the music I listen to, I ignore the lyrics, and focus on the music. After all, that's what really counts, and if the music's good, I don't care if the guys are Nazis or not; I know better than to become a Nazi.

Fuck the NS bit, all I want is the BM.

EDIT: I do agree with Dead Machine and Valefor. To me, all the satanic stuff talking about murdering thousands of innocent people is offensive, and blocking out NSBM for their ideologies is pretty hypocritical.

Not really listened to much NSBM (trying to keep up with the BM takes enough of my time :roll: ). Obviously, I don't appreciate the message, any more than I want to wipe out humanity for my master Satan :roll: (LVCIFVSS!! Destroy the cosmos!!! as I saw the prat from Disciplin say in a Terrorizer interview ( )).

Stefan, it's not just Nazis that killed millions, Communists all over the world are responsible for many, many more deaths (Stalin alone killed - what, 20 million?). America causes world suffering with its attacks on foreign countries. At the end of the day, noone is innocent, and criticising one group in particular for their ideals seems to me to be as bad as criticising metal (and 'tallica and Manson in particular :roll: ) for serial killers etc. No, I don't agree with Nazi ideology, nor indeed with any group that hates others, but you can't single out targets and let others get away. All 'haters' are wrong.

The only sorts of people I dislike are idiots, and that's more 'mild annoyance' than 'planet-busting hatred'.

Like i said a long time ago " i don't respect people who don't respect other people" so i hate nazi's too. But unfortunately, some of them make music too good to be ignored.

I enjoy the music and I have absolutely no problem with the lyrics. Some of the lyrics can be kind of cheesy, and those bands I ignore, but quite a few of them that truly are bm I really like the music and the lyrics. As for them all being "skinheads"...not precisely heh, there is a difference between being a skinhead, being NS, racist etc.

Did you read my entire post? :roll: I said certain bands have cheesy lyrics that I don't enjoy, therefore I ignore them...there are some however with very powerful and good lyrics which I do enjoy.
