Jokes aside, I really enjoyed The Fall of an Empire. Sure it's cheesy (which is kind of part of the genre description) but very entertaining too. I should check this one too though it had received mixed reviews.

With Halford in pink leather and fairywings leading the band. Awesome. I would pay to see a show like that

Well, That's what I'm trying to do (minus Halford. Can't manage to gather the economical resources to have him on board).

:p

You don't need money Phil, seduce him!! Btw, I really like your first album with the bitch Elisa :dio:

Say what you want to about the name, Fairyland pulls off the symphonic power metal stuff very well and this album is killer.

Bombastic choruses, nicely done symphonic arrangements just the way I like me power metal nice job Phil :dio: :dio:

Exactly.

Phil, the name is just kinda of, wussy. I mean, power metal isn't necessarily something you can listen to with the wife and kids (at least not mine), but when you have to tell somebody, 'I've been really digging the new Fairyland...' you get some looks, and then laughs. Or you should change it to, Fairyland of Fire...

I don't particularly mind the name, tbh. It's silly, sure, but lots of metal bands have really silly names-- Power Metal or not. I mean, shit, how is a name like "Fleshgod Apocalypse" or "Cannibal Corpse" honestly any less silly than a name like "Fairyland"?

Yeah you're probably right...

All this talk makes me want to listen to some Fairyland.

Thanks for the kind words (re the music). I like the name, because it encompasses what the musical universe of Fairyland is about, I think. I'm just now saying that if it can also be used to help the LGBT cause in the metal community, it's even better. I didn't do this on purpose, initially, but in hindsight I would have made the same choice.

That, or Rainbow Unicorn...

:P

It's a shame that Master of the Waves isn't on the killing songs list because it is fucking awesome :dio:
