I know this is a bug that's been around for years but it's been going crazy lately. If you don't know what I'm talking about it's the interviews forum getting spammed by threads like "Cydonia w/ Mike (#28/**/XoR/**/8=3)". Seems like some script is going bananas. It's normally not that big of a deal but it's happening so much it's messing up my forum browsing since I usually use the "View posts since last visit" button.

What's going on?

Unfortunately, I have no idea; it's some technical issue that comes around from gaps in the backstage interviews and that I really don't understand at all. I delete them as soon as I see them, and that's really the only fix that I have. Apologies for the annoyance.

Just thinking out loud now but here's an idea, make the Interviews forum invisible. It gets very little traffic anyway and just seems like the amount of work going into keeping it tidy is more than what a few posts a months are worth.

The "interviews" section should be removed altogether and the existing threads placed in the "news" section. They'll have a better visibility that way and, well, that's kinda where it belongs.

I'm not sure your suggestion would solve the problem if it's a script thing, Annoying Man From France, but I can certainly pass both suggestions on.

Do you mean the problem could move to another unused section such as the artwork one?
I know shit about technical stuff, my suggestion was therefore practical.

Well, or the news section if that's where the threads were moved to. I, too, am useless at this sort of thing.
