Anybody heard of this? It's supposed to be a largely Slavic tribute. The only track I've heard is Kroda doing Jesus Tod and it's incredible.

Check this out. They really give it a nice Ukrainian treatment with the wooden flutes and vargan.

Russian NSBM bothers me for some reason, but I enjoy Burzum's music so I might check it out.

Meh because is NSBM or because is Russian NSBM? I'll check this out, Burzum with flutes sounds like a winner.

Well, sometimes it seems you've something against NSBM, that's why I asked.

I like some of this NSBM bands, and nazis are ok. I don't give a shit about their beliefs as long as the music is good. You don't like Kroda?

You, being english, have obvious reasons to despise nazis, but for me, nazism is something exotique and nothing more. I want to state clearly that I don't support racism, but nationalism is ok.

S'alright. Goes on a bit more than it has to, more pleased with pling plong noises than it has any right to be. I thought Kroda weren't Nazis, anyway?

Don't know 4 sho, but they're in the tribute.

To clear things up: Kroda are indeed an apolitical band, but their members are nationalist and their record label (at least the one that published Towards the Firmaments...) stated on the booklet or maybe the back sleeve ( I keep my cases in Ft. Lauderdale) that they were amongst the Pagan Front.

That being said, Kroda's cover is far and beyond the best work on the album.
