Opeth - Demon of the fall

Anything by Opeth is good. I have yet to like another death metal band.

In Blackest Velvet - Edenflow

Punishable underrated Melodic Death from Germany.
By far not as technically versed as the majority of the Scandinavian bands, but with plentiful good songwriting ideas and catchy meoldies presented with a punkish attitude. Interesting and simply very good.

90%of the stickers of albums are pure crap; why? because almost all of the stickers feture comments of the crapiest people ever: Kerrang; and also, who in this world would put a sticker on the album that said: "Run of the mill Melo-Death, listen before buying." NOBODY.

Also there are some stickers that are a plain fuckin' insult. Like the lastest Atreyu album had one that compared them to In Flames, HIM, The Cure and Pantera; fuck me! if Atreyu was a mix of all those bands I'm sure I would have noticed, but fuck do these motherfuckers suck, and I still can't believe they had the balls to place a sticker with that extremley fake info on their album: I mean, they compare themselves with THE CURE for christ's sake. Fuck 'em.

Probably the only honest sticker I've seen on an album is the one I saw for Avantasia. And it was only talking about who was in the band. Which would have been enough to sell it to me, had I known to most of those people were at the time. This was in my pre-Helloween/Edguy days. Now, you tell me Tobias, Markus, and Kiske on and album and I'll piss myself in anticipation going to the store.

Speaking of which, I'm listening to Time of the Oath by Helloween. Best post-Keeper album, in my opinion.

That's why I quote only honest stickers.

My exprience with buying blind only based on sticker info is quite good.
I discoverd Cephalic Carnage, Gordian Knot and Nile this way.

oh yeah and i never pay attention to stickers, honest or not.

nor do i buy solely based on reviews. i very rarely get the chance to buy albums (once i start earning my own money that will change of course) so i ALWAYS download or listen at the store before i buy. the only opinion that i trust 100% is my own.

Yeah, i usually download stuff, I buy only around 10 Cd's a month. And most the CD's I download aren't even in the CD stores near me.

I buy some stuff based off reviews, like Hammerfall, never heard them then about 2 months ago went out and picked up 2 of their CD's and really enjoyed them.

hearts on fireeeeee

Some albums took several listens to grow on me. Had I listend to them before, I propably never would have bought them and forgot about.

BTW, in my 100% trusted opinion your signature is totally annoying.

Now playing:
