First two albums of Hammerfall are really good. I was 14 when the boom of Power/True/Speed Metal began in 1997. I was so into Edguy, Primal Fear, Labyrinth, Rhapsody, Domine, Stratovarius, Blind Guardian...

Then the love started to fade when most bands started to release mediocre albums, Lost Horizon split-up, the over-saturation... Anyways, I've good memories from that time.

I dowloaded the Hammerfall discography because I need more cheesy Power Metal in my life. So far it's doing the trick quite nicely.

And this might just be the Power Metal talking, but oh my, is that you in your avatar? :wub:

Yes, that's me, Alexander Mastachi. What did you expect, someone brown, around 1.60 m, with a sombrero and gardening equipment? :D The Voice fits that description (sans the gardening equipment), but not me.

Renegade is a piece of shit album, Legacy of Kings is ok but the ballads really will get to you and the riffing is repetitive as hell.
