Brilliant. Their emotional value is endlessly pleasing.

I'm very fond of the EP. Neige is a great songwriter.

Yeah they are pretty good in my opinion, the black metal mix is a little weaker than the shoegaze. But there are some great moments on Ecailles, and I wonder what their next album will be like.

We met Neige in Paris a few weeks ago, and he's totally different to what you might have assumed him to be like.

I believe he's a normal guy, not a suicidal or sad loser.

Kinda hit or miss for me. Some songs are beautiful while others just lack any gusto and are just kinda blah. More likely on Souvenirs than Ecailles, but Ecailles had some downers as well.

Yeah, I always assumed he'd be some sort of player/ladies man. Chicks dig Alcest.

He's tall, very tall, and very self-assured and open. Pretty cool guy.

His music is very up-lifting and captivating. One could say it is ethereal. Music like that is not easy to create by any means in my opinion. Melancholic yet hopeful...

What's your favorite work, Le Secret, Souvenirs or Ecailles?

I haven't heard the EP so I can't judge. But from the other albums I cannot decide but I probably lean more towards Écailles de Lune. They both have some very strong elements.

Imo, it's Neige's best work, probably because there are more BM vocals. And the songs are long and epic, the way post-metal should be.

I've only bothered to listen to a little bit of the Souvenirs d'un Autre Monde album and it bored me to sleep. Might be well executed but to me it's very dull and boring.
