Like The Bros. Johnson version of Strawberry Letter more, though (Louis Johnson is a helluva bass player).

Lotta good stuff from that era of funk / R&B / soul.

The final 13 minutes track is particulary good.
Strawberry Letter is great by Otis too, and I like that laidback vibe running throughout the album.

Yeah it's definitely got a laid back flow to it. I just prefer the Bros. Johnson bass-infused version. I'd rank Louis Johnson in the top ten bassists, ever, easily.

Sound quality is ace (very little crowd sound). Energy is fine. If you've heard other live of this KC formation, this will not be a surprise, neither good nor bad.

I was thinking of getting the Great Deceiver album, do you know how that is? Or which live album do you recommend getting?
