These guys are SO funny they're awesome. Got to love this interview. The funniest question is the one about Immortal, brilliant, simply brilliant.

My new favorite personalities from any band. I assum they're joking, but if not, even better!

I feel enlightened after reading that. Whoever the hell that guy is, he's my new hero. I agree, the response concerning Immortal was nothing short of brilliant. I hope these guys never let up with all this. I also find it funny how he totally avoided answering some stuff.

That was the greatest interview ever made.

Quote:
Our identities died the minute our souls were ripped from our chests and cast upon the whirling winds of the Blissered shrine. Even if we retained memory of who we were as mortals, it would be unimportant to the mission of I.C.E. We will divulge all that you human monkeys are allowed to know of the ancient. Concerning the instruments, all these songs come forth naturally as a combined unity of power and conviction, there are no instruments but us ourselves, as the instruments for the open eye of Råvaskieth.

Simply brilliant.

In an odd way it reminds me of a GWAR interview.... very funny stuff, though.

It made me giggle... Too bad they haven't heard of Hifvudshvui who is the big brother of Ravaskeith! Hifvudshvui is pissed off that his little brother has gone & started another cult again! Hifvudshvui told me his little bros. last cult started out somewhere in the southern parts of America where they'll believe anything! It died out rather quickly though... Hifvudshvui wonders how long this one will last... Have you been chosen by Ravaskeith like I.C.E. have? If so contact Hifvudshvui @ 1-800-BALOGNA!

Haahhahaha, yeah they must be kidding, and if they truly do not know immortal, they are THE biggest fags I ever read an interview of, and I read the Limp Bizkit interview

Now...they lost their souls, found Ravaskeith, and the Blissard Shrine, in the cold northern prophecies of Maryland??

Ron Vento from Aurora Borealis is the one answering the questions in this interview. He's lead guitars/vocals on the I.C.E. debut.

The band also consists of Tim Yeung (ex-Malevolent Creation ex-Nile current Aurora Borealis/Vital Remains session) on drums. Ryan Moll (ex-Divine Rapture) plays the bass and does backup vocals, and Babak Davodian(Divine Rapture) plays the rythm guitar/keyboards.

I find it extremely humorous that Vento would take this side project of his in the direction he's taking it. He's usually a straight up-no bullshit kind of a guy, so this is just a bit comical.

The debut album is good, but not great. Those comparisons to Immortal are way off in my opinion. If anything, I.C.E. sounds closest to Marduk/Legion type BM, than anything else. The production is great, as most Vento-produced shit is, and the only thing that annoys on the CD is the lack of straight double bass blasting. Straight snare/blast beats fill 85% of the CD... and the remaining 15% are not enough to satisfy me.... Especially after seeing Yeung live with Vital Remains... windmilling behind the kit during some of VR's MOST technical parts(think beginning of "Infidel" off of 'Dechristianize').

Ah, Tim Yeung; that pretty much sums it all up. Yes, this man is a human jackhammer; I think he also played on the first Hate Eternal album, but I don't recall it now.

Oh, and this interview was bloody freezing ("cool" would be too little for the rabid disciples of Raavaskeith).
