Certainly sad news, and I wish the best to Khan and hope to see him in future projects. But replacing him..... No names really come to mind to fill his shoes.

Adveser.

Indeed, it will be tough.

Very hard to replace him although I wouldn't mind seeing Heiman at the helm.

No. They don't have the balls to actually do something themselves. There's a lot of comfort in cowardice. I don't care if I get laughed at or people think I completely suck. I've been there when it's been insanely good, which is rare, and when it needs a ton of work, which is fairly common, they haven't. I could really care what an uninformed party thinks about a matter anyway.

There are at least 50 guys that could replace Khan. Get over it people and try not to ruin one of your favourite bands with your delusional views of it's members' worth. I thought it was a shame when Luppi left his band, but I was not worried because there is ALWAYS a better singer out there. There's a million singing fish in the singing ocean and since Khan is not a mutant that I know of, is limited to his physical ability, which time and time again has shown itself to come from knowledge and experience rather than "talent."

I, for one, would be pleased to hear some of your stuff. I can't mock you, as I'm necessarily a worst singer than you.

Anyway to stay on topic, I'm not sure Heiman fits in Kamelot. I love(d) the guy, but it would just sound off. A bit like Ripper didn't fit much Iced Earth.
Really, Heiman would be a poor choice (THERE, i said it.)

Totally agree with you, Heiman is a poor choice. Alas, the guy isn't even in metal anymore as far as I know. And the last two bands he was in, god, they were AWFUL!

Heed wasn't awful, it was just bad. They even had two songs I somewhat like... (Ashes, and Enemy). But the other band was despicable indeed.

After I read this I went and began playing "The Black Halo" on high volume in my CD player. It's been on repeat ever since. I'm having a hard time not laughing bitterly/crying heartily every time the song "Nothing Ever Dies" comes around.

Man this is a crap weak for metal.. Nevermore breaks up and now this !
Khan was one of my favorites singers, and Jeff Loomis one of my fav guitar players. Any chances they both form a new band together ? Yeah I know, let me dream.

The guy from Circus Maximus could do it. As well as Karevik.
