Been on a binge of these guys lately after buying mirrors, just curois who else is a fan of them here. Do you think they have a unique sound when compared to so many of their breakdown heavy peers?

I've got Controller, and it's great. The Devin Townsend production job is awesome.

And yeah, they're a lot less dependent on ATG-style riffage than a lot of their peers, and it really sets them apart from the crowd.

A friend of mine who used to listen to metal but now only listens to dnb was a huge fan of them. These days your opinion on metal is more valuable than his so I'll check them out and post thoughts later.

Listened to a couple songs on youtube. Sounds like generic metalcore. Am I missing something? I'd much rather listen to As I Lay Dying or older All that Remains for this type of stuff.

Listened to some songs on youtube and I can't say I'm impressed. They try to do something different with the typical metalcore sound but they don't really succeed in my opinion.

Pfft, w/e, you guys. This band is great.
