I guess they could always get Michael Caine to do it. He'd be a good Alfred.

That would be awesome IMO.

Anyway RIP

Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - Pretty great, although I found myself wishing that they'd cut some of the stuff about Lisbeth out altogether that seemed a bit superfluous to the main plot. I assume it fits better in the book and was cut down for the film... doesn't really spoil anything, tbh. Great pacing, superb acting, already geared up to love the sequel and hate the remake.

Unfortunately I have never read the books due to the 'chicklit' stigma, but yeah .. they changed directors after the first flick and it's just not the same vibe.

Rango - not at all fun and kind of predictable, but gorgeous movie, could be the best-looking CGI film i've ever seen.

The Brothers Bloom - not terrible, but I found it hard to engage with - never thought Mark Ruffalo was impressive, and Rachel Weisz (normally a mark of quality) was annoying. I'd quite like a pyromaniac female Japanese assistant called Bang-Bang, though.

The Hudsucker Proxy - One of the Coens' screwball pastiches, with Paul Newman, Charles Durning, Tim Robbins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Bruce Campbell. Entertaining, but not sure I'd have enjoyed it so much were I not a fan of them all, esp. Paul Newman.

L'Illusioniste - It had Erik Satie (or smth that sounded like him) in the soundtrack and I think that was fitting. Simple, heart-wrenching, cute and beautiful. Also hilarious at a couple of points. Can't stop thinking about it, anyways.

Yeah he did well, but he just played himself.

Including that bit where the friend stood up to him and he nearly crapped himself? He's impressed me before with his acting - Alpha Dog, Black Snake Moan.

Yeah that was funny. I haven't seen the other two.

I didn't really care about seeing Source Code until just now when I found out that Duncan Jones (Moon) is directing it.

What!? Nothing happened in that movie. I don't get what's so great about it. It was fine, not bad, just nothing happened.
