I remember my first encounter with Power Quest, twas the album Neverworld, and while the music was good the vocalist annoyed me incredibly; he has no balls at all, a fucking castrati. I might check Blood Alliance, but I've no big expectations. I've heard the new vocalist, Chity Somapala, in Firewind and Moonlight Agony and wasn't very impressed, he's an average frontman with a limited range.

My first encounter was with Master of Illusion and it bored me to tears. I really hope that the new line up makes them less of a drag to sit through.

Master of Illusion is their worst album. It just drags on and on, one average mid-paced power metal song after another. I think you'll like Blood Alliance much more.

Two of my friends' bands are supporting them when they play here so I'll give it a look and see if they're worth hanging around for. You pretty much described it the way I would ha ha.

Definitely a step up. It actually has some energy.

They always have awesome bonus songs on their Japanese releases.

Neverworld and Wings Of Forever are two of my favorite power metal albums, but Steve has struggled with line up changes so much since then. I've always felt Alessio was at least 'the voice' of Power Quest. Even though he had no... umph. He was still enjoyable in a Damnagoras way. Now its boring of key Chity. I'll still check this out, because Steve is an amazing songwriter, but I think the vocals are going to kill it for me.

Will be getting this one, I didn't mind the vocals previously at all sure they weren't the most powerful but still fitted the music.

Their last one wasn't too shabby... Is this out in Europe yet?
