I think I just saw an advert on the side of a bus for a new Nicolas Cage film called 'Drive Angry'. Sounds great.

Holy fuck what an intense and great film.

+1. Incredible film. My heart actually started racing when the rock fell.

As for Drive Angry, well, at least it'll make for some hilarious new Youtube compilations.

I saw the commercial for that and it looked so awfully bad yet good. I just can't do Johnny Cage with long hair. It's ridiculous.

Went and saw Black Swan in the proper cinematic setting last night. Absolutely excellent, I take back everything I might have said earlier. Holy shit, it blew me away, had me trembling on the edge of my seat. Portman deserves some sort of award for her performance. Loved the playing with mirrors and the white and black iconography as well. Not to mention that you can't go wrong with a Mila Kunis/Natalie Portman lesbian sex scene. Jesus fuck.

EDIT: Anyway, looking forward to Suckerpunch, True Grit, and The Adjustment Bureau.

The Talented Mr. Ripley. It took me a while to get into it at first, but overall it was a good movie. A bit too long maybe, but that's all I can say about it.

I just got back from True Grit. Very enjoyable movie!
All this hype around Black Swan has made me very curious. I don't even know what it's about.

Go into it with no preconceptions and watch it a fresh mind. I swear, the less you're expecting the better it'll be.

Good to know, I was going to look it up tomorrow. I've only seen the trailer so far and all I've learned form that is that it has something to do with ballet and that something's not right.

That's all I know too.

My friends talk about it and I have to close my ears.

Well, should you get the chance to watch it before I do, then please don't say anything about the plot on here.

both of you, watch it asap, preferably in the cinema as to get the full impact of the experience. The music and the cinematic details play a big part in the film.

Actually go out and buy tickets right now.

Dreamcatcher.

Shit movie. Really shitty. Well, actually, the second half was shitty after a surprisingly promising first hour. After that the story was awful. I don't know if I've ever seen a movie with so many gaping plot holes.

Just finished watching Moon. LOVED it. One of the best films I've seen in months.

Yes! One of my favorite movies ever actually. There are so many emotions I feel when I watch that movie. 5/5 for sure.

*MOON SPOILERS AHEAD*

The only thing I didn't like is that Sam's hallucinations at the beginning were never really explained. Who was the girl at the table? Even a hint of an explanation would've been nice. I felt like the hallucinations were totally ignored for the rest of the movie.

I've seen it 4 times now and I came to the conclusion that it was his daughter.
