I think this is definitely one of the greatest and without question most influential albums of all time. It's more of a classic than the vast majority of the albums on the Classics list (along with Safe As Milk) but it definitely doesn't qualify as a Metal Classic. RIP Captain

Just heard a wonderful story about how Bono from U2 wrote to the Captain suggesting a collaboration, and he replied 'Dear Bongo. No.'

Listened to this stuff a while ago (recommended by a suitemate at college). Just plain sucks.
