There's jackshit evidence against him, Zad, you know this. The sex was consensual, no way he's a rapist.
You know we're not talking about Polanski, right?

Have you been following the thread on Ruthless at all? Chrissakes, the girls' stories keep changing, now the first one's claiming she was asleep. This is massive bullshit, a complete conspiracy against Assange.
No, getting behind with Roofless. As hokey as the charges may seem to a bright young thing like you, women are allowed to change their minds mid-sex, and if the partner ignores their requests to stop, sorry, but that's sexual assault. I'm slightly bemused by how Assange is being treated as A. N. Hero here, when all he's basically doing is running a website. Wow, a website which leaked such amazing secrets as diplomats all hate each other and America doesn't always play by the Geneva Conventions? ZOMG! obviously The Man would do
anything to shut such a hero up, including fabricate a strange, shaky rape allegation. Instead of, you know, emailing him some child porn and then arresting him for that fairly solid offence that will without doubt blacken his name irrevocably. Or shooting him in the face.
I don't often quote Liberal Conspiracy or left-wing feminists, but here's an example of when I agree with something from both -

I think on balance, Wikileaks is a good thing, not an amazing one. I think this has all been bigged up by a bored media, and I think that there are nutters on both sides of the argument. I'm certainly not going to take Assange being a pain in the arse to America as proof of his innocence, however, just as I'm waiting for proof of guilt before assuming it is true.
