I've probably praised this enough in the review, but I listened to it today whilst on a family trip to the beach, and it's an even better experience when you're standing watching the waves. One of those moments where life and the musical accompaniment interact so perfectly that it's honestly breathtaking.

It's a total classic, an incredible album. IMO it's way better than Panopticon, which I hated.

Why'd you hate Panopticon? The less repetitive, more melodic style? The clean vocals?

I don't know, it lacked the hypnotic, crushing riffage of Oceanic.

Does this encapsulate Isis or do they do something radically different on the albums Celestial or Panopticon?
