I finally got to see Batman Begins.

It would have been great, if only I hadn't seen the Dark Night before it. Fucking love that movie. Batman Begins is great too, but The Dark Night just shits all over it.

She makes an interesting point about vampire sex. I never really thought about it that way.

I didn't know that Shakira's little sister did film reviews! Neat.

Is Anybody There?

Sad, affecting, bittersweet film with one of the best performances I've seen from Michael Caine in recent years. He is really, really fantastic.

I love her and her raw honesty. I thought Bruce Dickinson had cornered the market on ranting but this girl takes it to a whole new level.

Transsiberian - Yawn. Nice scenery, though.

The Taking Of Pelham 123 remake - Balls. Denzel Washington is no Walter Matthau, and Travolta is shure as shit no Robert Shaw. Gandolfini was good as the mayor, but otherwise very poor, lacks the original's excitement and cynical humour.

Saw it last night. On a purely technical level, it's mind-boggling. As a former student of Film and Television, I can only say that the structure of the entire second half is a feat of pure brillance.

As for the more meta-physical questions raised and the nature of the ending...I want to see it again before making any final judgements.

Cadillac Records - Loved it but it needs more Holin' Wolf.
The Blind Side - Cute movie, nothing speciall, and although i love Sandra Bullock i dont think her performance was oscar material.
(500) Days Of Summer - I actually enjoyed it, i wathced with a girl and she liked it too, not bad for a chick flick and Zooey Deschanel is

I really liked it until it turned into a run of the mill cat and mouse thriller. The bunker escape scene was particularly improbable. Some very likeable characters and a great sense of dread permeate the first 2/3 however.
