I liked it when it came out after the godawful State of Euphoria. One good song on that one ( Finale). I wish I still had a copy. Had it on vinyl and haven't got it back.

Good review Zad, I admit to some surprise at this not being awarded Classic status but I do understand your reluctance in that regard...I think in terms of pure enjoyment I would take Spreading the Disease over this, but for a more cerebral listen this one is perfect (Among the Living = best, obviously). I think 91 is a fair score, it does take a while to warm to this album, but when it hits you...it's just got that old-school Anthrax vibe, where you can't help thrashing around and screaming your little head off trying to keep up. High hopes but low expectations for the 'new' lineup.

I've never been a huge Anthrax fan, but this is my favorite album of theirs.

That's probably why.

True. I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoy Among the Living and Spreading the Disease, but this album being the least Anthrax like of their good thrash albums probably puts it up for me.

Great album and good review. Yeah, it's not as good as 3 first Anthrax's ones, but is better than State of Euphoria. The last Anthrax great album.

I like the somewhat fruity approach Anthrax had on State of Euphoria, a fun album that does not try to be anything else than a fun album.

Not as great as Among the Living or Spreading the Disease, but still great nonetheless. They only went downhill from here.
