Agreed! I saw it Friday night and loved it. As a fan of the comics, I can say that this definitely lived up them, if not surpassed them, thanks to the amazing jet pack / rocket launcher scene, which wasn't in the comic. There were a couple of story changes, but the plot was still 90% the same, and I didn't mind the alterations much.

Brothers. I have mixed feelings. It wasn't as intense as I expected it to be but then again it felt really real. I don't know, maybe it was just a big anti-war spiel I don't know.

Antichrist - Surprisingly ok for the first half-hour and the last few moments, absolutely fucking awful between the talking fox and the self-mutilation.

I thought the first part of Antichrist was so boring I never got to the self mutilation stuff. It did have an annoying time counter on the copy I downloaded though so I might give it another go.

Amelie - Beautiful and awesome. The scene where she fantasizes of him coming over and helping her cook but then doesn't answer when he actually knocks on the door struck a chord with me.

Pirate Radio - Watched about 45 minutes, chuckled once, enjoyed the music. Everything else annoyed me. Turned it off.

Sin City

Pretty damn good, actually. Wasn't expecting to like it that much.

Parts of Global Metal and Yes Men. Impersonating WTO officials seems fun.

Just bought Capitalism: A Love Story as well. I generally don't like Moore but he does know his economics so we'll see.

Global Metal is fucking cool. That bar in Japan with all the old dudes singing Highway Star rules. I want to go there! Also, Sin City is sweet. It troubles me to think that I saw that in theaters in, like, 2004. Where is my life going, and all that jazz. Jessica Alba fucking peaked in hotness in that film, though, seriously. In the comic Nancy was actually topless which would have been cool, but whatever, I can't complain. Also, Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, and Clive Owen?!?! That's awesome. I just watched Moon! Sam Rockwell, as directed by the offspring of Ziggy Stardust was awesome! I don't want to say anymore as to potentially ruin the film. Suffice to say that it was pretty fucking cool.

The Cove - hippies. Actually it was pretty good. One of the most passionate documentaries I've seen in a while. 8.5/10.

That film needs to be viewed with a sense of humour. It's hilarious at times really :D

I just saw Lawrence of Arabia for the first time.
EPIC. Absolutely brilliant, one of the most impressive films I've ever seen.

That ones open to interpretation, which is how Lynch intended it to be, supposedly.
To say it is a strange flick would be putting it mildly.

If you're talking about unintentional hilarity, then yeah, it was hysterical. :P Honestly, though, I just hated it. The characters were unlikeable, the world of Society was disgustingly perverted, and the story was basically lifted directly from Death Race and transplanted into this movie. And even then, some parts of the plot made absolutely no damn sense. The storytelling was just awful.
