Did he fall off the trampoline, or was he pushed?

Apparently he left because of... wait for it... "Insurmountable differences of musical opinion"!

As a legitimate 'Force fan, I say that this isn't a bad thing at all. Theart has a great range, but his voice is still paper-thin and makes him sounds like he needs to loosen his belt a few notches. Easily the band's weakest link, IMO. They're holding a world-wide audition at the moment, so hopefully whoever they find is at least a little better.

What an awesome email I just received from Napalm.

Goat, if you haven't watched this week's The Bubble yet and don't want a spoiler, ignore this.

Quote:
MALEFICE are David Mitchell’s favourite group!!
Plus add Northampton show in April

MALEFICE are DAVID MITCHELL’s “favourite group”.

The Reading outfit were featured last night, Thursday March 18, 2010 on the comedian’s new news-based quiz show THE BUBBLE that aired in the UK on BBC2.

Masquerading as ‘The League Of The Righteous’, a band mistaken and raided by Police fearing a militant terrorist outfit was active they managed to fool one of the panel, Josie Long into believing the yarn.

After name checking the band Mitchell is forced to ‘admit’:

“MALEFICE are my favourite group”

THE BUBBLE is available online at the BBC Iplayer for a week. The section featuring Malefice starts at 19’ 50” and David Mitchell’s love for Malefice is at 23’ 50”

The Libertines are back together for Reading and Leeds, and Suede have also reunited. Oh, and Teenage Fanclub are back in the studio.

I know no one cares about this except me, but fuck you.

The Big Pink
Twin Door Cinema Club

Day 2
Main stage:

Arcade Fire
The Libertines
Dizzee Rascal
The Cribs
The Maccabees

The Gaslight Anthem

NME stage:

Enter Shikari
Crystal Castles
Special Guests

There's some stuff I'd really like to see (Libs, Klaxons, Paramore and Biffy Clyro), but the rest is just... completely MEH.

Limp Bizkit, Paramore, Weezer, Blink 182, and All time low all on the same day?!?!?! Is there some supreme cosmic imbalance or something, why can't excellent bands all lineup for one day for a good show!!?!?!?! AHHHH!!!!

I'm always surprised that music festivals can round up like 45 bands and out of those I'm only interested in seeing two or three.

Apparently Peter Steele may be dead for real this time.

Looks like the rumours are becoming more and more legit.
