Fall semester:

Advanced Latin: Livy
Intermediate Greek: Reading Greek
Ancient History Seminar (part I): Constitutions in Greek City States
Honours Reading Course in Latin (part I)

Winter semester:

Advanced Latin: Satire
Intermediate Latin: Historians
Intermediate Greek: Poetry
Honours Reading Course in Latin (part II)
Ancient History Seminar (part I): Constitutions in Greek City States

So yep, this year is going to suck, what with the shitloads of Greek and Latin and only one history course (though a year long seminar). Still, at least in fall I only have four classes, and the Honours Reading Course is mainly independent with very little class time, so hopefully that'll help.

My vote for most interesting course load goes to the Montreal Canadiens fan!

I'd give my left nut to be able to read Ancient Greek and Latin.

My first go at grad school I thought I was going to be a Byzantinist! Too bad that wasn't very practical. Still hope to learn Greek one day. I'm working on the Master's first and then see where it takes me path.

Fall 2009 US Foreign Policy in the Cold War
Spring 2010 Intro to Europe Historiography

Fall 2010
20th Century Europe
US Diplomatic History in the Atomic Age
Europe from Reformation to Enlightenment

Spring 2011
Stalinism
Grand Strategy in Diplomacy
Research Seminar in International History
Where do you go to school at?

So next quarter:

Wittgenstein
Empiricism
Philosophy of History (Not cool Hegel stuff but dumb analytic stuff)
Social Movements
Survey of Sociological Theory II
Stats II
Completely revamped my entire schedule so that I can still work.

Kept:
-Philosophy of History (Convinced the professor to talk some Foucault.)
-Social Movements (An entire course devoted to some Critical Theory!)
-Survey of Sociological Theory II
-Environmentalism and Justice (which is all about Critical Race and Gender Theory, and I'll probably be trying to write my term paper on Marxism and the marketing of freshwater)
-Philosophy of Technology (taught by a short, chubby British Marxist. it's an overview of tons of philosophies and their take on technology)
-Some lame math class.

I am taking a class about loyalty and Ethics of War & Terrorism in the summer. Then in the fall my tentative line-up is Intro to Linguistics Part 2, Aristotle, The Empiricists and Intro to Existentialism or something along those lines. Maybe not the Existentialism class because I need to be focusing moar on requirements for mah degree. Not sure if any more will be offered/fit into my timetable though. We shall see!

Well played.

I might take it anyways because more philosophy credits couldn't hurt for a philosophy major! And I sat in on a class with a friend and it seemed like good times.
