These guys are playing Heavy MTL 2010 in July and I know that I know of the band, just don't know anything about them. So I was wondering what the general consensus of these guys are. Would I find any kind of enjoyment in them? Or when they hit the stage should I be off getting food/drink or checking out the merch tents? I would just look them up, but I trust your guys opinion here over some random person on another site.

I was surprised to see you start this thread because I assumed you'd hate them, if that tells you anything.

Yeah, they kinda suck.

I like Deathcore when it's good, but WoP isn't very good.

I really wanted to like them after hearing what they attempt to do. But in practice, they fucking blow and in person I expect their wigger style will be even less impressive than the music. They have a chick in their band so if MTL turns into a sausagefest the sight of her might provide some relief.

I've seen them live and they are far from amazing, it's just a lot of chugging with too keyboard saturation on top of it.

slayer, megadeth, and testament for sure. As for others, well, depends on who's playing the festival.

I tried to get into them back when the first released decimate the weak but they just don't do it for me. And then the boss's fag-trend son(spoiled rich brat) goes around pimping them like they're original and whathaveyou. I own both cd's and I keep them in my box of shame. Enjoy the show, should you go.
