Thanks, I shall have to check out Ulcerate since I'm not familiar with the band but have heard good things. I've missed out on a lot of the tech death releases last year as well that I need to catch up on.

You haven't missed much man in terms of tech death, from what I've heard of the new Gorod its pretty bland and forgettable. It'll be a lot better when Decrepit Birth comes out with Polarity then that can wash the stain of Obscura and Gorod away. But yeah check out Ulcerate

Aww come on, first the deathcore generalization now I'm being shunned for not really liking Gorod.Hah Process of a new decline just didn't keep me as transfixed as Everything is fire. There are some moments where Gorod genuinely shine, "Disavow your god" has some excellent melodies, and the necksnapping transitions on "Diverted logic" are masterful, but overall the album just didn't grab me like Everything is fire.

I have heard about two songs from their newest album "Lost skulls" and "Nightmare". To these ears it sounds like a huge amalgam of Entombed, Meshuggah, and Dillinger Escape plan. Its some really bizarre stuff those Polyrhythms make me tap my desk and go along with them. I liked it as well.
