Walking Tall (the new one) and Blade Runner

Walking Tall is pretty shit and I only made it to the part where Harrison Ford is eating at the chinese? food place and gets arrested, then I fell asleep.

Watching Hot Rod right now. God, this movie is stupid. But that doesn't mean I'm not laughing my ass off.

For a best picture winner, Slumdog Millionaire was very just kind of... there.

After all the hype, yeah overrated. If you take it for what it was though, it was good. I'd watch it again, but if I want Oscar worthy movies I'll pull out There Will Be Blood or No Country For Old Men. Those two movies should've both won best picture.

Yeah. Didn't seem like last year had any movies on the same level as those two :(

The Wrestler is another movie that got shafted, as far as Oscars go.

I predict a similar occurrence, that Avatar will win obscene amounts of awards due to carryover hype, leaving other more deserving films hung out to dry. The Oscars and Academy Awards always seemed like a bit of a farce to me, though.

Didn't No Country For Old Men win the Oscar the year before, beating out There Will Be Blood?

Oscars are ridiculous. I think most viewers stopped caring about it a long time ago. Now it's just the film industry licking each others ball in a sophisticated manner.

Yes it did. Javier Bardem still gives me the creeps in that movie. What an acting performance...

Yeah it did, but I feel TWBB was slightly better. Either way, both of those movies are in my top ten and they came out the same year.

About two-three weeks ago. I'm doing applications for things and don't want people to track me down saying things like you have a sexy ass. Which you do.

I only speak the truth. If you can't handle it then maybe you shouldn't wear those assless chaps.

Just because you're so hot doesn't give you the right to mock my wearing assless chaps.

2001 A Space Odyssey in HD how this movie looks 100 times better than new SciFi movies is beyond me.

The Phantom Carriage (1921) - Victor Sjöström (silent movie), amazing atmosphere

Ugly, Dirty and Bad (1976) - great movie about Italian gypsies, i felt disgustingly dirty in the end - Ettore Scola

Rabid Dogs (1974) - film by Mario Bava - Its funny how much Tarantino stole from these underground Italian crime/horror movies
