can only remember one regular on this forum from scotland off the top of my head, but anyway: Has anyone heard Man must die or Madman is Absolute? The former were just supportring Nile, but don't know too much about the latter at all. Anyway, they are both quite technical metalcore-type stuff, but I think they are both among the best exponents of this style that I've heard.

I thought MMD were the best band on the bill when they opened for Dying Fetus and Nile.

I haven't ever got round to seeing either of them, and since virtually every band in Glasgow is something-core they've never perked my interest.

Our biggest export at the moment are the recently-signed Mendeed but, again, they're Metalcore and I don't like 'em.

Favourite Glasgow band is Syth, aggressive Power Metal with a vocalist that sounds oddly like Ride/Puppets-era James Hetfield. Highly recommended.
