Good review Marty, I was meaning to buy the live and dangerous DVD, after all is one of my all time favourite live albums, but in terms of DVD's what would you think is a better buy, this or Live and dangerous?

I own both and would undoubtedly go for Live and Dangerous, this is great as well, but seeing as how I find L & D to be the best live-album ever I will recommend that.

I didn't think that the Live and Dangerous DVD was complete (ie same track listing as the album). Live and Dangerous (DVD) likely has overall better sound but this one's a great one to get too. It has more of the later period ie Chinatown, Renegade etc. I also like the fact that its a complete and unaltered concert performance. That fact is evident by some of the sound mix problems early in the set as well as a few blown notes here and there. No studio trickery on this one

Thin Lizzy is one of my favorite bands of all time, so it pains me to say this. Horrible track selection. Who the fuck wants to hear Rosalie?

There's a couple questionable track choices but othwerwise, I think it's a great set list. What's wrong with Rosalie?

I'm not a fan of the song at all. Fighting is my favorite Thin Lizzy album, unfortunately Rosalie is the first song on the album, so I always skip over it. For me it doesnt even exist on the album. Thankfully For Those Who Love to Live is the next song on the album.

Rosalie is a kick ass Bob Seger cover. I like the live version as much as the studio one. It fits in well for Thin Lizzy's style of music.
