I'm recording something!

Not at this very moment, but yeah. I've got the bass track recorded.

It's an arrangement of this song:

I haven't broken a string either (I played really soft 90% of the time) but I just thought I'd replace them because my acoustic's strings were getting pretty gross and not staying in tune so I got some for my electric too.

I have a decent Ibanez that I thought felt/sounded just as good as the Gibson's when I was buying it. I'd like to compare them again since I also sucked at guitar back then. I did just go trying out some acoustic guitars when I bought strings but didn't notice a huge difference between the nice guitars and the one I have, except they looked a lot nicer. (Mine is pretty grody since I sloppily took off the pickguard and never bother cleaning it.)

@Legacy, post recording, yo.

My supposedly shitty fender squier has never once let me down. It still sounds better than guitars three times it's price. I really got lucky with this purchase. Usually the shit I buy get torn apart much sooner than they are supposed to. Even though I usually go for the high price for quality.

And I haven't even broken a string. In three years. Not even once. I just realized that.

What the fuck?

You do change them anyway though, right??

Of course dude. The new ones never break either. I do change them every once in a while, maybe not as often as I'm supposed to.

If I can figure out how to get something recorded on my computer, I might give it a go.

I've been wanting a tele. *drools*

I decided against a new guitar for now, and got an amp instead.

I need to get into the studio too, but I'm out of cash. :S

How much was the telecaster? Maybe I'll get a secondhand one, trade in my LTD or something...

about 10 000 NOK, which is about 1800 francs.

I have four guitars now, looking to sell at least one of them. Since I'm not playing metal anymore, I should get rid of that Eclipse I have.

Don't have any pics try to get some up later. I have 3 Electrics

Steinberger GM4T(my favorite)
Jackson soloist SL2H
Ibanez S470QS

My amps are
Line 6 Spyder III for practice
Peavey 5150 for band practice and shows

saving for a Bogner Uberschall. Gonna be a while before that purchase.

Would love to try to one of those new Moog Guitars
