Oh man Episode 4 is the best one of the season so far. The murder was one of the more intense ones of the series.

Spoilers: And that ending, where did Lundy get shot at? The killer or someone hired by him? So no one is going to pursue the case now or will Miami PD pick it up since Lundy got killed? Or will they blame the vacation murderer since it may have been at Lundy's hotel? Is the vacation murders even importatnt?

I will say that it is definitely the Vacation Murderers. I think Trinity wants to get caught but at the same time doesn't want to get caught, there is know way ke tries to kill Lundy.

Alien 3 was pretty shit, it must be said. 4 was better on a sheer entertainment level.

No. No no no.

I used to hate Alien 3. When was the last time you watched it? It took me until many years later to get past the, let's be honest, EVIL opening scenes and see the quite good film that was hidden under all the studio interference. If you haven't already I'd advise watching the "Assembly Cut." It restores a lot of deleted scenes that actually help the damn thing make sense. For instance, Paul McGann doesn't just disappear but actually goes on to be crucial to the plot.

The fourth one was just a fucking disaster, the embodiment of shitty late 90s action films. I've actually read Whedon's original script, and to be fair to him a lot of the lines he wrote were delivered in completely the wrong way, but it was still a terrible story.

Still not in the class of the first two, but very underrated all the same. Ok now I want to watch Alien 3.

EDIT:

My God, Fringe sucks.

Watched The Thick Of It specials, great stuff.

Also on Buffy season 6: Tara's just been shot, which is the pointless annoyance of an otherwise shitty, soap-operaesque yawnfest. Way to go, killing off the one character that isn't a whiny bitch. Completely agreed, Brahmbles.

In the beginning it seems like a very typical mecha anime series, but keep with it, shit gets awesome.

Evangelion is all sorts of awesome on so many levels, it seems straightforward but it's got so much depth, psychology and leaves you with a lot of questions to figure out. Took me at least 2 viewings of the series to get a good grasp of the story.

Started Dead Set last night, Charlie Brooker's zombies/Big Brother house thing. So far so good, Rio, opinion? Aside from the fast zombies, of course...

Dead Set is great, although it kind of loses something on repeated viewings. The ending is utterly crushing, though.

**SPOILERZ, sort of**

The way they just fuck the whole thing up in a matter of a few minutes is what I'd imagine to be the most painfully accurate rendition of what would actually happen in a zombie apocalypse.

The TV producer character was a bit OTT but the scene where he's carving up the tranny's corpse is shockingly visceral, considering you don't actually see that much.
