Sooner or later this guy would pop up, so let's do this as soon as possible hehe

Your thought on this band?

Call him a posser, a cunt, a Hot Topic band etc etc... but Hollywood is a quite decent rock album (not even Nü-metal) as well as Antichrist...

I'm ready to be flamed now.

I think he's a HUGE faggot, and deserves to die.

He's made a couple of catchy songs though, i'll give him that..

Aye, his a fag, no doubt about that; but Holly-Wood is a decent album; MM has put out some better albums than many Nü-metal and mall-core bands.

I can admit to liking a few of his songs.. Spade from the Grotesque album is quite a fun rock track.

Can't stand his music but I agree with a lot of his opinions. I really liked how he handles the media, especially after the Columbine shootings. He's actually very intelligent... but as far as his music goes... thumbs down.

Some of his songs were catchy, but mostly it's all very boring. If he's that intelligent, he doesn't act like it...

Yes, that is true. He also did a lot of other interviews, all of which I was very impressed with. Many years ago, when Antichrist Superstar first came out they did a thing on Much Music here in Canada called "too much for Much". It was basically a hour long question and answer session with Manson about his image, satanism, religious and media reaction to him, and I remember being really impressed with his answers and his whole demeanor regarding the whole thing.

indeed, though I've nerver enjoyed his music (some cool covers to mention only) I think the guy is pretty clever... opposing him to Varg would make an interesting debate and, imo, would show how Varg is educated (meaning : read a lot) but is totally stupid...

yep, BfC was on belgian tv yesterday and he defended himself very clever and unlike the ppl accusing him, he doens't need to lie. But i'm afraid moore is going to much to the commercial side, fahrenheit 9/11 wasn't bad but it was a little bit shallow if you look at the subject. All he does nowadays is flaming at america and it's president. He's right to do so but he must open his mind to other subjects. he's becoming someone who uses tragedies for use for his movies. :? still like him for BfC

Holy Wood was a good album. Mechanical animals had some weird appeal, but was too shallow for my taste. Antichrist superstar is still alright. Golden Age of Grotesque is boring.

Rather intelligent fellow, though.

I can't stand the guy or his music. It really pisses me off when people say something about MM if i tell them i like metal.

There's about three songs off of "Antichrist Superstar" that I like (Little Horn in particular), but that's really about it. They do have some catchy songs, but I'm not really a "catchy" songs person...

I've never heard or payed much attention to what he has to say. Without knowing better, I could probably make some comparisons to him/them and Gene Simmons/Kiss - maybe that's fair, maybe not. Kinda seems like it to me at a glance though ...

in many ways he is a genius, not musically of course, but psychologically and business wise. His music videos are really cool and creepy. He makes some cool songs, but also a lot of filler crap.

A couple of catchy songs, but that's it. Why do you guys think he gets blamed for all the 'satanic' murders etc when there is much worse stuff eg goregrind?
