Unless they are unconcious and naked, then yes they are ok. But not singing and playing instruments, that's just wrong.

Females in metal is not the issue... I believe what MB is saying (and I agree) is when they try to do harsh vocals it's kinda stupid.

Like a big giant hairy fat bastard in an evening gown singing Celine Dion would be.

Well I think we can all agree DW's post was designed to elicit exactly this reaction, and therefore does not count.

MB's post doesn't represent poserosity (poserity?) as much as old fashioned stupidity, and that was my point.
