Finally someone who thinks Como Estais Amigos is a great track. But I see you haven't included The Clansman? I would take that over Como... any day. And since the matter of Somewhere In Time came up, I would say that is the weakest of the albums upto Seventh Son. It isn't a bad one though, but compared to the others, it isn't as great.

I don't like Clansman by Blaze. It's way better by Bruce and the reason why I didn't include it on my compilation is because I only used studio recordings.

Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter is a horrible song.

Not horrible, but not essential too.
Well, I'd really never put anything from NPFTD in a recopilation. And very few of FOTD (FOTD and perhaps BQOBD).
I know everybody has his fav songs, but the lack of 2M2M & ROtAM of your combination hurts my eyes.

The Rainmaker
Wasted Years
Only The Good Die Young (although, when thinking of that song title, I always think of the Billy Joel song instead)

I don't listen to Maiden nearly enough and when I do its only the albums I own (Piece of Mind, Seventh Son, Brave New World, and AMoLaD) so obviously I'm not awesomely hardcore like some of you, but anyways, the 3 songs I like the most from those 4 albums go a little something like this..

Ghost of The Navigator
Can I Play With Madness
For The Greater Good of God

For The Greater Good Of God is a monster track and should already be considered a classic... I would recommend you getting either The Number Of The Beast, Somewhere In Time or Dance Of Death as your next Maiden album. :)

I like that track too, but if it wasn't "For The Greater Good Of God" repeated over and over again, I would've liked it a little more. Maiden are just getting a little too repetitive with their choruses. AMLOAD is the second Maiden album in which no track really stands out to be a classic, the first one being No Prayer For The Dying. This is a personal opinion.

I'm not sure... Imho, they're just as good but Killers wins because of its better sound.

I see what you mean... but isn't "Tailgunner" a classic Maiden track?

Nope. A good song but not a classic. Actually, the only really good song on NPDTD with Holy Smoke.

"No Prayer For The Dying", "Run Silent Run Deep" and "Mother Russia" are really good songs in my opinion... a lot better than the singles taken from this album (Holy Smoke, Bring Your Daughter...)

Agree. Although a major reason why I like the tracks No Prayer... and Mother Russia is cos of the guitar melodies or harmonies or whatever you call them. Mother Russia's is classic. Run Silent, Run Deep is good too. Holy Smoke and Hooks In You are kinda fun tracks which I enjoy listening to. I just mentioned 5 tracks I like from that album. It ain't that bad I guess. But, it is still Maiden's weakest album with Bruce.

Damn! I forgot the 3rd good song!

And I disagree on NPFTD being Maiden's weakest with Bruce, it's Dance of Death.

1. Prowler
2. Purgatory
3. Remember Tomorrow

4. Invaders
5. Sign of the Cross (the studio version with Blaze, not Bruce's inferior live version)
