I listened to a couple track off YouTube, and I wasn't too thrilled by it. Some of it seemed good, but I dunno. I'll give them another listen.

I still don't know why I love In Defiance Of Existence as much as I do. But I do love it a lot. :dio:

It did grow on me, this album. I was all MEH at first, but he's a clever songwriter, is Galder.

He's a fantastic guitarist as well, but that almost goes without saying. And from some interviews I've read, he seems like a really nice guy too.

Where's a good place to start listening to OMC? I tried their Natured Spiritual Invasion album first and I wasn't too into it.

Pagan Prosperity, but bear in mind, it doesn't really sound too much like his newer stuff. His time in Dimmu Borgir has rubbed off on him quite a bit.

In Defiance Of Existence is a brilliant album.

His older albums are sooo good that this is almost a letdown. But not really. It has its moments. Definitely some cool tracks and bits here and there but I wouldn't waste my money on it.

This album is raging with excellent song-writing, outstanding arrangements, and melody that has given way to something darker than heard on previous albums. There seems to be somewhat a missing factor it being the tremendous and sublime melodious genius witnessed on previous compositions by Galder that were always a surprise. I cannot overlook that but this album is still very compelling with its very intelligent arrangements and timings. 87/100
