money doesn't cure suffering and the myth that it does is all-pervasive in this ownership society.

not that a lack of money isn't strongly correlated with other kinds of suffering, but it's not like Korn were ever singing about having dysentery because they don't have access to clean water or about how their sisters were murdered by warlords.

also this album isn't that bad and i'd list it as a classic regardless of quality, but if an assessment of quality independent of impact and classic status were required i'd give it like a high 60s-low 70s.

I was being half-ironic.

Although it is true that hearing rich people with great opportunities and careers etc make a living out of bitching is quite annoying. Look at Evanscence, for example. We get it, you had a shitty boyfriend. Who hasn't? Granted, child abuse is worse than a failed romance, but still.
