What's the difference between Michael Jackson and Disney films?

Disney films can still touch children! :D

Seriously, if he'd have died ten years ago it might have been sad, but it's too much now what with the surgery, kiddie-fiddling etc.

I do love me some Michael Jackson. This is sad news indeed.

a very talenter performer, very, very few people would've made the impact he made for as long as he did (what, 40 something years? holy shit). RIP.

He did rip off Tina Turner, James Brown, Mick Jagger, etc and have just a couple of great songs. Fame > talent, but isn't that always the way.

Michael Jackson's music was totally different from Mick Jagger's, James Brown's and Tina Turner's (sorry if this is terribly ignorant but I wasn't aware that the latter had ever recorded a single good song).

He had more than a couple of great songs. And anyway, even if he had only released the song Thriller and then departed, he would be remembered.

Without the soul for getting down
Must stand and face the hounds of hell
And rot inside a corpse's shell

Hm, but his dance moves were way better than Mick Jagger's and Tina Turner's.

Didn't you play Moonwalker on the Mega Drive? He could wipe out an entire room of evil henchmen with them.

Come off it, Mega Drive?! I have a working-class background, was lucky to get a B&W Spanish TV for part of it.

And, well, Mick Jagger dances better than him now.

Yeah? Well I only ever played mega drive at my friend's house after a hard day's labour down the coal mine, moneybags, with your "TV".

At least you had friends, with arms to cry in. I was reduced to befriending a limbless mannequin and drawing a smiley face on it with a sharpened spoon. So there.

Oh shut up you old troll. There are no plans to hold a Michael Jackson review week in memoriam that I'm aware of.

At least you had spoons. We had to live beneath a newspaper in the street and all we got to eat was gravel, and if we didn't finish our plates our dad would beat us to death and bury us.

It seems unlikely given that I've never actually heard the whole album... only the title track. :omfg:

:omfg:

It's true, I've never listened to any of the albums I've reviewed.

My secret exposed!
