And people who don't like it are functioning retards.
It's the manner in which people express their opinions on not liking something. I'm not sure why people can't simply not enjoy something, whatever it may be, and leave it at that. There's always this counterpart to that where one must discredit an album or movie or actor, or whatever. You don't have to tear something down and declare yourself and opinion superior, you know. Just simply leave it at "I don't dig it."
And my comment was a general statement based on what I've seen online and elsewhere. I wasn't point fingers at anyone here.
I totally agree with you man, though I'd say there are other factors that affect peoples nature like upbringing,open-mindedness,asshole factor etc.Not to make myself sound all holy but I'm currently 25 and have been loving classic stuff since I was a little kid thanks to my folks before they went Uber-Christian.Sorry,just trying to say maturity normally happens to many later in life but there are a few(like myself, ask my milf gf and friends)who are fortunate to respect the opinions and beliefs of others. It definitely gets old, people being so "IT SUCKS!!" like they're the final jury.I always do my best to leave an open mind so that if I don't initially like something I may enjoy it when the time is right, and it happen far more often than people would like to admit.Being uncomfortable, wrong mood etc can greatly affect peoples opinion on art.
Anyway,good album.
