So what. At least they're a prolific band with impressively thorough tours almost every year. You may or may not like their music, but at least they're dedicated, honest and upfront. What more can you ask from a metal band...

It's well within Nergal's right to want to make some cash from Behemoth. They've not sold out and started playing metalcore, have they? And it's not like Death Metal will earn you loadsamoolah unless you're In Flames anyways.

it's not metalcore, but it's certainly some kind of trendy modern death metal; and you also can consider they've sold out when they've switched from black metal to modern death metal, following the path of Nile, Hate Eternal and other addicts to double bass drum debauchery.

When were Nile Black Metal? And considering that it's taken them a good three or four albums of Death Metal to get to their current stage of fame (and they haven't changed their sound to become more popular really, have they?) I think Nergal's paid his dues. And come on, Hate Eternal aren't that popular, according to your yardstick then Mayhem sold out the day Euronymous was buried.
