Cool,it would be neat if it happened, but scary too. They're a band with alot of history and influence,it'd be a shame if something weak came out.I wonder what style they would employ?

The last interview I read with Jeff Walker said that if Carcass made another album, they'd sound like Arch Enemy. I imagine it'd be something between Heartwork and Necroticism, though, Bill Steer gets the Rockin' out with Firebird so hopefully he'd want to Grind it a little. A follow-up to Symphonies is my dream... never happen, though.

I am a huge Carcass fan. I am not sure if they can actually pull it off if they reform. At least going by some interviews (which were a few years back, and I agree his mind could've changed going by wat Goat said about the last interview he read) , Jeff Walker didn't seem to be interested in death metal. I remember reading one where he said that he was surprised that some people were "Still playing the same shit" after all these years hinting that DM was a thing of the past. The way I see it, he might agree to reform Carcass for a studio album just for the $$$. If your heart is not into it, don't do it and screw up the legacy of Carcass. But damn, am I ironically looking forward to it and will be among the first to get it in watever way if it happens. As Bill Steer did say that it has gone from a "No" to "Maybe" to "Never say never". Even if it is for the bucks, I just hope they release a good album even if it sounds like Arch Enemy cos I like them.
