To The Nines left me cold. Bloodred Hatred and The Sickness Within are badass. Especially The Sickness Within.

I'm pretty pleased as well. I still haven't heard the new one all the way through, but what I have heard has been killer.

Blind and Forever is Today are classic Strato speed metal, and Higher We go isn't far behind. What impresses me most (sort of) is that there are a lot of midtempo-to-ballad type songs that don't suck. Stratovarius in no shitty ballads shocker!

Culted - Beyond the Thunders of the Upper Deep

Yeah.

Slow slow slooooow crushing blackened doom, but with a regular pulse and face crushing riffs. Like Sunn 0))) being jabbed with a cattle prod.

Great hard rock, at first listen. Bob Catley really shines.
