Gammacide - Endangered Species. :dio:

I think I dislike thrash vocals. Know any thrash with amazing vox?

Try Morbid Saint. Morbid Saint is about as intense as thrash metal can get without being lablelled death or black.

How could you dis-like the dude from Gammacide? He is so awesome and fits the music perfectly.

I actually don't dislike him. Hearing his vocals made me wonder why other bands' vocals weren't better.

NP: Gammacide - Gutter Rats.

The vocals are my problem area when it comes to Thrash.

Did you try Morbid Saint? Intense shit. When you say you want some better vox, do you want growlers? wailers? or straight forward singing? Because I can name bands for each.

The music is my problem area when it comes to Deftones or Marilyn Manson or Mudvayne or Mastodon or Between the Buried and Me or whatever.

Marduk - Plague Angel

Listened to Heaven Shall Burn... earlier, and this is much more interesting.

Hm maybe I've been listening to the wrong Marduk album? I've only heard Heaven Shall Burn.

Rom 5:12 is where they really cast off the shackles, that's a better starting place. Plague Angel is the sound of a band trying to change and nearly getting there, Rom 5:12 is where it gets awesome.

Toxik, Realm, Flotsam & Jetsam, Death Angel, Heathen, and Paradox for the wailers.

Forbidden, Artillery, Midas Touch, Demolition Hammer, Hades, and Holy Terror for the straight up singers.

Obviously there is a lot more, but I think they are good enough. And I will say it again, check out Morbid Saint.

Artillery are the only thrash band I can think of with a super great singer. Overkill's guy is awesome too, but I thought he sounded like a goblin when I first heard them.

Dark Angel - Darkness Descends

yeah so this album destroys pretty much every other album that came out in 1986.

Corrected. I've heard a lot of those thrash bands and didn't love any of them. Some were decent though. Maybe I'll try them again sometime.

Dude, don't be so defensive. I'm not knocking Thrash, I'm just saying that a lot of the time, the vocals throw me off.

I was just joking anyway, didn't think I needed a smiley face to go along with it.

Well, I can suggest some more if you'd like. Those were just the first ones that came to mind. I didn't want to go real obscure on you. It's funny though, when I went through my collection most of it is singers more on the growly side. So coming up with my "wailers" list was a little harder than I thought it would be.

I was going to be like "wat" but I guess you were joking. Yeah, good vocals in thrash...not an expert but now I want to check out Artillery and Heathen.
