Pretty great. And Sasha Grey's on it! Everyone but AngelRipper16 is interested now, heh.

I wish I talked like David Tibet.

Agoraphobic Nosebleed - Thawing Out. 15 second songs piss me off when they contain an awesome riff which would make a badass two minute song.

That pisses off too. Same with when a minute and a half song breaks into a badass riff for the last 5 seconds when the majority of the rest was just blasting.

Ah, indeed. Dylan was the earliest music I remember hearing, my parents being massive fans, and even today he's a big part of my playlist. Too many favourite songs to tell. Getting into Young slowly, as well.

NP: Steven Wilson - Insurgentes
I like it, but I can't help but wish he'd make his songs more... song-y.

Neil Young does have his moments... I have After The Gold Rush, Harvest, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, Star's and Bar's and Rust Never Sleeps.
For Dylan I have Nashville Skyline, Pat Garret and Billy the Kid and Before The Flood.
Both are exceptional songwriters, though I tend to like Young's music a bit more overall.

Off the top of my head, Young - After The Gold Rush, Harvest, EKTIS, RNS and that antiwar one he did a few years back. Dylan, man, too many to mention and still collecting, I think I've got all his early stuff up to the last couple before he went all Born Again on us. I hope you've heard Highway 61 Revisited (my first and still favourite) and Blood On The Tracks, both amazing albums, and, for me, much better than anything Young ever did. Heck, any Dylan album has much to recommend it.

Yeah, my mom had both those albums, and I've heard them.
Don't own them though. Good stuff, if in the right mood.
Like Johnny Cash, he is a great storyteller, using words like an artist uses paint on a canvass.

Yes. I prefer his style to Cash's, although obviously I have massive respect for the man in black. Even his very religious material is pretty darn excellent, which you can't always say for Dylan.

Now I'm at home, I can check: Living With War was the Young album I couldn't remember.

Haven't heard that one.
Wierd, our Neil Young collections are almost identical.

Heard any of his stuff with Crosby, Stills & Nash? I got their first album without him ages ago, but haven't proceeded further...

This is a sure sign that you are soul-brothers. I wouldn't have thought so either, but you can't argue with the signs.

Probably most of it, my parents had all that stuff...

I don't have anything from them, though, except for an odd mp3 of Ohio floating around on my hard drive.

True.
I think it boiled down to a big misunderstanding of where each of us was coming from, which has been cleared up, so all is cool.
Shit happens sometimes. I used to get into fistfights with my best friend , but we always ended up raising hell together and having a general all around good time with it, the next day.
