V-E-N-O-fuckin' -M

Black Flag has thier place in music history, no denial here...
Ah, so that chip on your shoulder is only directed towards Rollins.

NP: Manowar - Achilles, Agony and Ecstasy. OMG I like Manowar.

Rollins is a straight-edge dick.
Black Flag were way better pre- Rollins.
And yes, I experienced the whole first wave of hardcore, living in LA, yet, so Black Flag is no stranger to me, though I'll admit I haven't listened to them in a long, long while.
I am aware of their influence and their early stuff is good for what it is.
Still...
Venom >>> Black Flag. The irony is that Venom brought the Fuck-You-Punk attitude to metal.
At least the first coupla albums.

Classics for the Banshee! :dio:

Right now, some Hammers of Misfortune. This band kicks ass and redefines what progressive metal should be. :dio:

The 70's were a great time for music, as you know. You were there.
And I'm off to bed... it's after 1:00 in the AM, I've had a bit of vodka, and I gotta get up at six, so good night.

1349 - Revelations Of The Black Flame

Slower, lots of ambient parts, a weird Blackened cocktail of Morbid Angel, late Satyricon and Celtic Frost at their strangest. Doesn't actually hit avant-garde territory and only some moments are what you'd call progressive, but it's a sideways step for the band that'll divide people. Going to be a bitch to review! Hopefully will be done for Monday.

Holy shit man, just say Death!

I'm listening to Saxon, then maybe some death metal.
