Interesting rant. Awesome news on the album, along with the new Converge it's my most anticipated of 2009.

So yeah anarcho-neoliberalism bullshit is kinda lame. I oppose the government creating laws that prevent me from speeding but they should create laws to regulate the production of cars. :blink:

converge and dillinger are what most people call chaoscore, in your opinion does the genre fit or is it just one of those 'core' pseudogenres

Chaoscore? wtf? I'd say thats just people joking around making up stupid genres ending in core. Kind of like how people call Mastodon 'beardcore' as a joke, because all or most of the band members have beards.

Converge are a hybrid of extreme metal and hardcore, and most just refer to them as metalcore, though some mathcore because they do tend to stray into mathcore territory. The Dillinger Escape Plan are a mathcore band.
